Club session,
sorted.

Most clubs run on one or two people who were volunteered years ago and haven't been able to hand it off since. Rackets handles the draws, the rotations, and the court display automatically, so whoever's running the session can spend the night talking to players, not managing a whiteboard.

You already know
how this goes.

Players arrive over 15 minutes, sign in at the door, and wait to be told which court they're on. Someone, usually the same person every week, works out the draw, balances grades, remembers who played who last round, and figures out what to do when the numbers don't divide evenly. Then they do it again next round. While everyone else is playing.

Rackets handles all of it automatically.

  • Player check-in with self-assessed grade
  • Fair draw generation across all courts
  • Sit-out rotation when numbers are uneven
  • Live court display, updated after every round
  • Automatic round advancement in Auto mode

Everything the session
needs. Nothing it doesn't.

Smart scheduling

Grade-weighted matching avoids rematches, rotates sit-outs fairly, and handles uneven player numbers automatically.

Live display screen

A dedicated screen shows every player exactly where to be. Updates in real time as rounds advance, no shouting required.

Auto mode

Rounds generate and advance on their own. The organiser can step away from the screen and spend the session on the court or talking to new members, not watching the clock.

Manual override

Lock specific players to specific courts for any round. The algorithm fills the rest. Full control when you need it.

Singles & doubles

Mixed sessions with singles and doubles courts on the same night. Players opt in to doubles at check-in.

Player database

Returning players check in with a name search. Grades update automatically each time they play.

The screen your
players watch.

Players see exactly where they're playing and who they're up against. No announcements. No confusion. No one chasing the organiser for information.

What are the tech requirements?
Rackets runs in any modern browser, no app to install. At minimum, a single Chromebook handles everything. For a more polished setup, use an iPad for the admin, a large wall-mounted screen for the court display, and a hosted URL that lets you add display screens throughout the complex.
Which version is right for my club?
Lite suits smaller clubs running singles nights on up to 3 courts. Rackets suits clubs running full sessions, mixing singles and doubles, with their own branding on the screens. If you're not sure, get in touch and we'll talk it through.
What's included in the price?
Everything you see on the page. The admin tool, the live court display, and email support while you get set up. One payment, no recurring fees, no per-user charges, no per-court fees.
Why is it one-off and not a subscription?
Because clubs outlast software companies. Committees change, treasurers rotate, but the Tuesday night session keeps running. A one-off fee means you own the tool, like you own the nets and the scoreboard. You're not renting your session software.
What sports does it work for?
Rackets was built for squash but works for any racket sport, tennis, badminton, pickleball, padel, racketball, table tennis, and more. If your club runs sessions with courts and players, it will work.
What grading information is included?
You can assign each player a grade when you register them. The grades available will match the predominant grading system for your sport: SNZ grades for squash, WTN (ITF World Tennis Number) for tennis, for example. Rackets uses those grades to balance matchups and ensure players are competing at a similar level throughout the session.

Most clubs manage sessions with a whiteboard, a spreadsheet, or one person with a very good memory. It works until that person burns out, moves away, or just stops putting their hand up. Rackets means the session runs itself, so the organiser can focus on what actually grows a club: welcoming new members and making sure everyone has a good night.
